Having spent most of my life in Australia, I’m well acquainted with the cost of flights. To get anywhere from Australia costs thousands. I used to envy people who lived in New York or London for whom the rest of the world was just a short, and cheap, plane trip away. Air travel can be an expensive proposition though and it’s getting more so with rising fuel prices, carbon offset penalties and so forth.
On the other hand though, there is increasing competition as air travel routes are opened up to more airlines, and if you book well in advance, you can usually secure cheap flights and heavily discounted seats. Most airlines also have a limited number of bargain priced seats and internet specials available if you are quick enough off the mark to snap them up.
Flights.com is an easy place to find a discount air fare. They have daily specials on offer, such as Delta airlines $59 flights from New York City and Atlanta to 40+ cities across the country. With the increasing number of air commuters and air travellers, the cost of domestic travel has really been driven down over the last few years.
If you act now, you can get a round trip international fare to Australia which includes stop overs in four cities. That’s an amazingly good price – visiting one city would normally cost that much but this offer gives you four cities for the price of one. In fact, travelling to the US from Australia can easily cost up to $3000 so it’s an excellent deal and as a proud Aussie, I encourage you to come on over – we’d love to have you !
